How does the cleaning service work?

With the Buddy Company App, you can quickly and easily book a variety of cleaning services. When you book, you need to specify where and when you need cleaning and how many square meters have to be covered. We support RUT deductions, which means that you only pay 50% of the cleaning cost.

What cities is the service available in?

Home cleaning is available in Stockholm, Göteborg, and Malmö.

Do I need cleaning equipment?

Yes, our Buddies do not bring cleaning equipment (except for the move-out cleaning). For best results, we recommend that you have: a vacuum cleaner, a mop, a bucket, an all-purpose detergent, a toilet cleaner, a glass cleaner, some cleaning rags, sponges, dust cloths, as well as detergents and equipment necessary for possible additional services (e.g. window cleaning or oven cleaning).

What additional services are available?

In addition to the regular cleaning, we offer additional services for your home and office.

Deep cleaning: If you want your home to be extra shiny, then we recommend booking our deep cleaning service.  Our professional Buddies will clean every room thoroughly, from floor to ceiling. We put extra focus on your kitchen and bathroom - or wherever you think more care is needed. As a customer, you are guaranteed a shiny result!

Window cleaning: 
We will help you clean your windows, inside and outside, and make them look new again. If you do not have the necessary cleaning tools at home, we will bring all the tools and cleaning products with us.

Handyman service: With our handyman service, we will help you assemble office furniture, hang paintings, shelves, curtains, set up technical equipment, and support with smaller carpentry assignments. Tell us what you require help with, and we will bring the necessary equipment to fulfill your wish.

Other tasks: We can take care of your recycling, do groceries, arrange fruit baskets, supply you with door mats, and much more. Tell us what you need and we will take care of it!

What do I do with the keys?

Typically, our customers let in a Buddy and hand over a key which is then left in the letter box when the cleaning is completed. Indicate how you want to do it and if you have any special requests, put them in the notes section of your booking.

Can I be home during the service?

We are happy to provide you the service even if you work at home. Our Buddies take it into account and keep their distance during the service. If you have the opportunity, we recommend that you stay in another room or go for a walk while we perform the service. If you have the slightest cold symptoms, just get in touch with us at and we will help you rebook the service.

What happens if something breaks?

Accidents happen to everyone, and we are prepared for that. We have a company insurance with liability insurance that covers damage to your property. The insurance also covers personal injuries to our customers and Buddies. Contact us at if an accident occurs and we will make sure to take care of it.

How can I cancel the service?

Up to 48 hours before the start of the home cleaning time, you can easily cancel at no extra cost by contacting our customer support. Late cancellations (24 to 12 hours before the service time) will be charged SEK 200. Cancellations within 12 hours of the start of the booking will be charged 80% of the service cost.

What do I do if I am dissatisfied with the service?

If you are dissatisfied, contact us at and we will make sure to find out what went wrong. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we always strive to get better and appreciate your feedback.
